Welcome to the NASCOE Awards Home Page!

NASCOE has long ago made the commitment to honor fellow Members that have gone over and above their ASCS/FSA duties to make a difference within NASCOE, their Communities, and with FSA-Agriculture (NASCOE Distinguished Service Awards).  In addition to this, NASCOE also recognizes Members who achieve milestones of unused sick leave, Extra Effort awards, Professional Improvement awards (see NASCOE Members Scholarship program that has now been tied in with this) and the First Timers Award program.

The Distinguished Service Awards (DSA) applications are in a fillable format for your use.  We have also included all of the eligibility requirements and filing deadlines on the applications so you do not have to flip between multiple web pages.  If you need additional information the current edition of the NASCOE Awards/Scholarships Handbook is also posted on this site, and/or you may ask your Area Awards Committee Chairperson or myself for assistance.  Please see the photos and the complete nomination write-ups for the 2009 DSA winners.  We hope this inspires you to nominate the person(s) that you deem so deserving of recognition!

In preparation of your State Convention please ask your membership to provide you with the names, County, and milestone hours they have reached (1,000, 1,500, 2,000, 2,500 and 3,000 and more).  Please send these directly to me (
oasen@charter.net) at least a month in advance of your convention, using the Sick Leave Certificate request form provided in this portion of the NASCOE web site.

Extra Mile Award certificates and Certificate of Appreciation certificates may also be requested by completing the applicable forms available on this site.  Please submit these to your State Awards Chairperson at least one month in advance of your planned event in which you plan to honor the recipient.

I wish you the best of luck and I truly hope you like the look and ease of the new NASCOE DSA Nomination forms and all of the information you need to help you recognize the dedicated NASCOE Members you work with!
