Please, only book the rooms you will need as rooms are limited. If you book an extra room and later find you will not need the room, don’t cancel that room until you contact NASCOE as the room may be needed by another state. The cost of the rooms will be $188.00 plus tax.

We are planning a short get together for Monday night from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. This get together will be a kick off meeting for the leg conference. Those who will be able to make it in to WDC early enough, come join us for some fun and education. We see this meeting as a great way to get everyone excited and pumped up about the days to follow. We will get more details out as we get closer to the leg conference.

For states that will be making visits to Congressional Members who are on either the House or Senate Ag Committees or the House and Senate Ag Appropriations Committees, we will be holding a meeting Wednesday night to discuss how your visits went. We are asking these states to try and schedule these visits on Wednesday so you can take part in the Wednesday evening meeting. We will be getting more information out on this in the near future.

This will be a very important Legislative Conference for NASCOE and its Members. We will need a very energetic and excited group of NASCOE Members to help us push our message while we are in town.

Look for more detail to come soon.

Dan Root and Kevin Wooten.
