Military Tribute

The NASCOE Board of Executives considerately allowed me to honor our soldiers and veterans at the National Convention in Omaha, NE, on August 6-9.  I will have a display set up with information regarding our military and I want to honor ALL soldiers, past and present.  If anyone in your family is in the military or a veteran, please send me the following information and a picture if you have one and I will be sure they are included in the tribute.  If you sent this information last year, no need to send it again.

Please send: Soldier Name, Branch of Service, Time and places where they served, where they are currently located if presently in the service, what relationship they have to you, your name, county office name, and state.  Also include any honors or other information you would like to share.  Be sure to email pictures if you have them.

Did you know that you could donate your old cell phone and the proceeds would be used to purchase calling cards for the military?  Any old cell phone, bag phones, even phones that do not work can be donated.  I will be collecting old cell phones at the national convention, so please remember to bring them along.  Information regarding this program and many others can be found at www.usdamilitaryfamilies.org .

Make sure you stop by the military display at the convention and find out how YOU can help support our military.  Our soldiers deserve all the help they can get and there are many ways you can be of assistance.  Why wait until the convention?  Check out the site today!
