Scam Alert

Several members have reported that they have received emails that are asking them to purchase gift cards. Please understand that no NASCOE officer, executive, or chairperson will ever reach out and ask another NASCOE member to purchase gift cards on their behalf. This is a scam. We are informing all members in an attempt to protect them and hopefully prevent them from becoming a target. Please be diligent when receiving emails and clicking links. As we all know scammers as creative and things can look very convincing. The attachment below is a screen shot example of one such email request that was a scam.
